INTRODUCTION

Marking Time explores the traces of memory and historic fragments of Geumcheon district as an urban place - while also reflecting the changing landscape of human perception and interaction in contemporary Korean society.

The exhibition consists of fourteen Korean artists – who were selected for the 1st Geumcheon Art Space Residency Program of Seoul City - and guest international artists.

It is the intention of this exhibition and the Geumcheon Art Space Residency Program to encourage and promote an international exchange of contemporary art and ideas.
